Neon Trees At Bonnaroo Tell The Story Of Their Name, Opening for My Chemical Romance and More
Last month we caught up with Tyler and Brandon from Neon Trees and got a few festival survival tips--looks like they took their own advice, because they looked fresh-faced and ready to conquer the stage on the last day of Bonnaroo.

Neon Trees Interview: Getting Ready For Bonnaroo, Feathers, Body Paint And All
Neon Trees are taking us to Bonnaroo which means YOU get to come along for the ride too! The band is hitting the summer music festival circuit hard, zipping around to win over the masses in Los Angeles, Tokyo, London and more. And, on Sunday, June 12th they'll be hanging in Nashville for the legendary Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival.
It's hard for a Tree Hugger to keep up these days, but the good news is the band is documenting their Road To Bonnaroo with Buzznet! We're meeting up with NT in Nashville next week and will be reporting back on their experience (and if you're interested, ours too).
To kick off the series, we also hooked up with Neon Trees before they hit the road and asked Tyler and Brandon about their expectations for the event, some survival tips and their favorite past festival experiences including having a hot dog thrown at them (what?!!).
On an interesting festival experience: “We haven't gotten many things thrown at us, just threatened-but we did get one hot dog thrown at us.”
On what to wear: “Douse yourself in body paint and feathers because the things you do at festivals you don't want to be remembered for.”
On artists they're excited to watch: “Robyn, and a band I'm obsessed with-Twin Shadow."
